Shiraz
The long wait is over…A new vintage of Judgement Shiraz is now available. The new release 2014 Judgement was selected from a single, extremely low yielding vineyard (30 years old) in One Tree Hill. The fruit was hand-picked, fermented in open top fermenters, hand plunged during fermentation and gently basket pressed to New Extra Fine Grain French oak barrels. The wine was matured for 24 months in oak, with a further 12 months of bottle age. The 2014 vintage overall was absolutely fantastic, with fruit having impeccable structure, amazing depth of flavour, and a striking dense colour. Judgement Shiraz is only ever made on the best vintages, where the fruit must withhold perfect balance and showcase that certain unexplained X-Factor. A wine to be appreciated now, or for long-term cellaring.
The new Judgement has been very well received, only just recently it took out best wine of category ($100-$200), 5 STARS and included in the TOP 10 BEST Shiraz’s, in Winestate Magazine International Shiraz Challenge 2017. The wine was judged among some of the best Shiraz wines of the world. We are thrilled to be included in the TOP 10 !!
Our Judgement will be available for tasting at cellar door from Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August.
